Terms of service
Sleek Badge, a service by GetOutLoop Automation, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Last updated 4 October 2026.
What you are getting
A digital business card: a page of your contact details at its own web address, which people reach by tapping your card, scanning its QR or opening its link. You can change what is on it as often as you like. An engraved physical card is sold separately and includes the digital one.
Using Sleek Badge means agreeing to these terms and to our privacy notice.
What it costs
The card and the profile are bought once. Neither is rented, and the code engraved on your card is yours for as long as the card exists. What renews is hosting: keeping your page served, your details stored and the tap answered. The first year comes with your purchase.
If hosting lapses your card does not stop working. For fourteen days nothing changes at all. After that it falls back to a free profile — your name, photo, phone and QR still answer, and your logo, brand colours, company name and links come off until it is paid again. Nothing is deleted, and nothing is reprinted when you come back.
- Free: a working profile at its own link, at no cost and with no time limit. It carries our own promotions at the bottom of the page and cannot show your logo or your brand colours.
- Pro, RM59: the same profile without our promotions, with your own logo and colours, and with 20 card scans. Paid once and kept.
- Engraved cards: RM189 for wood and RM249 for metal, including everything in Pro. Paid once.
- Pro and an engraved card are priced separately. Buying Pro first does not reduce the price of a card ordered later.
- Once you have a card, another one costs RM189 for wood or RM249 for metal — the card and the post. A spare and a replacement are the same price.
- Prices include any tax that applies. A price change never affects something you have already bought.
Payment is handled by Stripe. You can pay by card, FPX or e-wallet, and your card goes live as soon as the payment goes through. We never see or store your card number.
How long your profile stays live
For as long as Sleek Badge operates. You have bought it, not rented it, and we will not introduce a fee later for something you have already paid for.
- If we ever have to stop running the service, we will give you at least ninety days' notice by email and a way to export everything on your profile before it closes.
- A free profile also has no time limit. We may take one down if it is not being used at all, but never without emailing you first and giving you a month to say otherwise.
- Hosting is the one thing that renews. It can be stopped at any time from Stripe's billing page, with no notice period and no fee, and the year you have already paid for runs to its end. The card itself is unaffected either way — that was bought outright.
Refunds
- Pro profile: tell us within thirty days and we refund it in full, whether or not you have used it. Your profile goes back to the free tier.
- Engraved cards: each one is engraved with your details, so it cannot be resold and we cannot take it back for a change of mind. If it arrives faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, tell us within fourteen days and we will replace it or refund it.
Nothing here takes away rights you have under Malaysian consumer law.
Your card is yours
You keep ownership of everything you put on it. You give us permission to show it on your card and nowhere else, for as long as your card is live.
By publishing a card you confirm that:
- the details on it are your own, or you are allowed to publish them;
- you may use the logo you upload and the job title and company you claim;
- the photograph is of you, or you have the permission of whoever is in it.
What you may not do
- Pretend to be someone else, or represent a company you have no right to represent.
- Publish anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, or that infringes somebody's rights.
- Use a card to send people to malware, phishing or a scam.
- Collect other people's personal data through your card without telling them.
- Resell the service, or automate account creation.
We may hide a card or close an account that does these things. Where it is a genuine mistake we will tell you and give you a chance to fix it first; where it is impersonation or fraud we will not, and there is no refund.
When a card stops working
A card we have taken down shows nothing about you — no name, no number, no explanation. We keep your details for twelve months after that, so putting it back brings everything as you left it. After twelve months they are deleted.
We may take a profile down if it is used to deceive people, to impersonate somebody, to carry a third party's contact details without their permission, or for anything illegal. We look at each one ourselves rather than removing pages automatically on a report, and if you think we have it wrong, tell us and we will put it back.
You can hide your card yourself at any time from your dashboard, and ask us to delete your account entirely whenever you want.
Physical cards and NFC
Engraved cards are made to order from natural materials, so grain and colour vary between cards — that is the material, not a fault. The NFC chip works with phones that support it; most phones made since about 2018 do. A card that will not tap can still be scanned from its QR or opened from its link.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep the service running and your card reachable, but we do not guarantee it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, a provider outage or something outside our control can interrupt it.
We are not responsible for business you believe you lost while a card was unreachable, or for what anyone does with details you chose to publish. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you we will email you before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means accepting it. A change can never add a fee to something you have already bought. The date at the top tells you when this version was written.
Law, and how to reach us
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction. Talk to us first, though — most things are settled with a message.
